Costing upwards of $200 million dollars to make, the spectacle is well worth seeing. Without us giving out too much of the plot, honestly - just see it. It is astounding!

Welcome to Tom Ford's directorial debut. Based on a novel by Christopher Isherwood, and screened at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival - Tom Ford directs actor Colin Firth and actress Julianne Moore in a story based during the mid-'60's in Los Angeles. The plot follows George (Colin Firth), a gay college professor struggling to cope with the death of his partner.

The star-studded cast that embellishes the film, Nine is simply spectacular. A musical that follows famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day Lewis) as he engages in dramatic relationships with his wife, agent, muse, mistress... all while struggling to find meaning, and a script for his latest film endeavor. Actresses Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench and Marion Cotillard are stunningly entertaining in the musical spectacle. |
