When it comes to iconic weddings and picking out the perfect dress, our editors immediately thought of Ivanka Trump. Even though Trump tied the knot with her now husband, Jared Kushner, two years ago, glamorous photos and design tips are still surfacing from the couple's then highly anticipated wedding party. After receiving an overwhelming amount of questions from our readers about how to approach their own wedding celebrations, we thought we'd bring in the professionals; beginning with the luxury bridal expert herself.

When it came to planning your own wedding, what would you say was the inspiration for the overall atmosphere? How did you end up choosing your theme?
I always envisioned myself having a traditional and elegant wedding. I wanted a location that was intimate, yet would have a significant impact. Trump National Golf Club Bedminster (our wedding location) has a classic feel to it, which is a great representation of my personal style. It is refined and elegant which is just what I was looking for in a choice of location that would complement my theme.
Shopping for a wedding gown is a fun, but often stressful experience for any bride. How would you suggest our brides-to-be prepare for the task of finding the perfect dress?
It was not easy for me when searching for a dress. It was important that I remain somewhat covered, as we had a traditional Jewish ceremony. I wanted something romantic and very airy that would stand the test of time. I think it is extremely important for a bride to be able to open her wedding album years from now and still be satisfied with her decision. And, of course, it has to be comfortable, since you will be dancing all night!
The Ivanka Trump Collection is a great way for any bride to accessorize her special day. Are there any pieces that you would suggest not only for the bride, but also for her bridesmaids?
I believe that every bride needs a statement piece. However, depending on the neckline, some dresses may call for a simple necklace and studs, while others may call for a great pair of earrings like my pearl and diamond tassel earrings in 18k white gold. I also love the signature platinum oval diamond engagement ring. However, what’s most important is that your bridal jewelry be a reflection of your personal style, and that you own your look. It's great to give your bridesmaids something that is timeless, but is also affordable. One of my favorite options are the rock crystal bead earrings on 18k pave diamond wire for $800. *
