Batman, "The Dark Knight": Holy Heath! July 22nd, 2008.
One of our Style Republic interns, Kierra Traill and myself took a peek at Heath Ledger's final performance over the weekend in one of this year's most anticipated box office hits, "The Dark Knight". Wow. I can only imagine where one would have to put their mind in order to play "The Joker", because he is one twisted individual. The frightening part is that Ledger played the role of "terrorist clown" too well!
Sex & The City: My Wardrobe Expanded After Watching This Film...Did Yours? June 4th, 2008.
As I'm sure almost every woman and her girl friends did on May 30th, 2008, I with my own set saw the "Sex & The City" film. Here's a great question for all who witnessed Carrie Bradshaw's gorgeous Louis Vuitton's : Didn't you spend half of the movie going, "I LOVE HER SHOES" (or dress...or pants...or hat...)? I think my wardrobe has doubled (if not tripled) in size thanks to Carrie's trip to Diane Von Furstenberg!

Holt Renfrew features Diane Von Furstenberg, Fashion Gala to Benefit the Arts Umbrella May 6th, 2008.
With an appearance from Diane Von Furstenberg herself, Holt Renfrew hosted a fashion gala to benefit the Arts Umbrella on Tuesday evening. Showcasing Von Furstenberg's Fall 2008 collection at the newly established Holt Renfrew location in Vancouver, BC, the show not only brought out the talent of DVF, but some of today's most talked about celebrity's as well. Steven Seagal and Petra Nemcova were both spotted at this swanky event.
Also adorning the runways of Diane Von Furstenberg was the magic of Cirque Du Soleil, and without a doubt some of the best looking angels I've ever seen.

My Latest Obsession..."The Clutch" April 8, 2008.
After an evening of browsing through the magazine's fashion closet, I've come to the conclusion that every woman should own at least one "Clutch".
Not only are they adorable, but they're efficient! Particularily in the Spring & Summer time, these little wonders come out in a ray of colours and styles.

I received some spectacular news last week. The world's oldest luxury fragrance house, Guerlain, has partnered with Style Republic Magazine.Com to host, "A
Fashion Show for Breast Cancer". Not only will all of the gorgeous runway models be styled with Guerlain cosmetics for the show, but all of our guests will

This season is fabulous for scoping out those gorgeous prints we all know and love! Yes, Spring is famous for its
bold and beautiful colors, however this year, they're even better! I mean let's be honest, no woman can resist
a gorgeous Spring print when she sees it. Having said that, check out the latest from Marc Jacobs (Marc by Marc), Maggy London,
and Max Azria. Those three have some stunning designs that I'm dying to add to my wardrobe.
For those of you who missed Marc Jacobs' amazing "Marc by Marc" line at New York fashion week, he made quite a splash
on the runway with some gorgeous prints for Spring of 2008. For those who did catch the action, and made a poor attempt
