It’s finally here. Lady GaGa & Beyonce have released the music video for their latest single, ‘Telephone’. The collaboration between the two singers is at the very least, an unheard of amount of ‘diva’ for one song, let alone one music video. What do you think?
I won’t lie to you – this has become one of my favorite stories to tell. Two weeks ago, I entered a contest being held on Net-A-Porter.com (fashion’s largest upscale online shopping domain). The prize? Dolly Forever Barbie by Christian Louboutin. Now, the best part about this story is that I won (pause for champagne and applause). Ladies & gentlemen, I never win anything. To boot, I love Barbie. Having said that, Dolly Forever Barbie will now be assisting at the Style Republic Magazine headquarters – Putting together shoots, organizing our fashion closets, and yes – continuing her Parisienne adventure in our various fashion excursions.
Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper were involved in an HIV/AIDS awareness discussion led by Sharon Osbourne, who posed over a dozen questions generated by fans on Facebook and Twitter. The star-studded event took place yesterday afternoon in London. Other notable celebrities who joined the discussion/event included Agyness Deyn, Todd Lynn, and designer Henry Holland. Which reminds me, do you not just LOVE what Lady GaGa is wearing? The event was streamed off of the MAC Cosmetics Facebook page.
Russian model Natalia Vodianova looked absolutely stunning upon arrival with Mario Testino at the Love Ball at The Roundhouse on February 23, 2010 in London, England. I find everything about Vodianova’s look just captivating in this shot – from the dress to her accessories, she just sparkles, no?
This advertising campaign is simply fantastic. I always thought Prada to be on the more pretentious side of upscale fashion – however, this campaign just screams fun and fabulous, no?
Dean & Dan Caten have to be two of the most endearing individuals I’ve come across in the last little while. The design duo that is DSQUARED2 made an appearance at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver, BC on February 13, 2010, to celebrate the launch of their new limited edition fleece hoodie (exclusive to Holt Renfrew). After a glass of champagne with Dean & Dan, I bumped into notorious celebrity blogger, Lainey Gossip – who is incredibly friendly by the way (yes, the same woman who makes various hysterical lip gloss references when describing Zac Efron)!
It doesn’t often happen that I dedicate a full blog posting to one individual’s entire outfit. In fact, I think it’s happened once prior to this one. Having said that, do you not just love Paris Hilton’s dress and accessories in the below photograph? The model, singer, and fragrance connoisseur is also sporting gorgeous accessories by Lia Sophia.
Dean & Dan Caten of DSQUARED2 have been labeled headline talent costume designers for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Not only will one of our favorite design duos be dressing celebrity performers, but hosting an exclusive party of their own at Vancouver’s Holt Renfrew location on February 13, from 5-7 PM. The event will celebrate the launch of DSQUARED2’s Limited Edition Fleece Hoodie that will be available exclusively at Holt Renfrew locations.
